"After this Training, my eyes are opened to new ways of looking at the world. It is so refreshing to experience proactive solutions. It could not have come at a better time in my life, both personally and professionally. One would think that at 42 years old, I would have my life figured out, but I now know that no one ever knows and also, we can only do what we can do. It gets overwhelming to try and “change the world”, but this training showed me that we have to do our part. This training is like a warm hug of humanity and hope! "

ADDING PERSONAL VALUE

This workshop uniquely defines value as one’s ability to impact, influence, and create positive change within his or her environment. After examining various levels of identity (self, subject, and agent), participants will walk away with strategies for enhancing perceived value, thus adding to their personal value. | 90 minutes or full day.

"During this session, At True North: Finding Resolution to Conflict, learned that conflict is not always negative, and can be viewed from a positive perspective. When viewed through positive eyes, the resolution is valued and the road to conflict resolution can be traveled; the same when dealing with others not only in the workplace but in one’s personal life."

Finding Resolution to Conflict
This workshop provides a fresh perspective for defining conflict, fundamentally as the distance between two points. Within this framework, resolution is necessary to prevent both ends from understanding the
world only through a self-centered lens that gives rise to exclusion and division. Participants are introduced to a Conflict Compass™ which helps to locate the position individuals land on a given conflict plane, whether at proactive, inactive, reactive, and active. After working through conflict ridden scenarios, participants are empowered with community building tools of caring, sharing, loving, trust, honor, and respect as strategies for helping individuals find True North, the point of resolution.
